With UPF 50+, the GT Summer Half Tights S11 provide full-length, lightweight, breathable coverage in warm, sunny conditions. The S11 generation updates the rider-favorite design with a lighter, more durable body textile that has a deeper, true-black color. That’s augmented at the waist with a wide band of elastic material, which provides support and accommodating stretch, while the hipClick fit locks the shorts in place for secure comfort. Despite the changes, the tights maintain breathability, and the new insert doubles down on cooling airflow with the addition of an ultralight panel in the front.

FEATURED FABRICS
The new QUARTZ textile is a lightweight, breathable warp knit with permanent odorControl. The true-black color doesn’t turn white or become transparent while stretching during normal use, and 80% of its content is from pre-consumer recycled polyamide. A band of Sens AIR across the lower stomach eliminates pressure in aggressive riding positions.

ENGINEERING
PILtec Plug-In:A lightweight, ultra-breathable textile band across the raw-cut leg opening. The microdot silicone treatment is invisible from the outside but stabilizes fit and maintains grip in wet or dry conditions;
hipClick:A waist construction that combines elastic and mesh layers with a high, unrestrictive rise to stabilize the body panels and lock the insert in place;
zeroPressure Waist:A soft, highly elastic waist construction that improves comfort and hold at the waist, without pressure or pinching.

Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 12:Compressive foam layers in a 12mm endurance platform. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation;
3D Waffle:A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight;
goldenGate 2.0:A free-floating construction that moves with the body rather than against it. New cut-outs on the wings reduce friction throughout the pedal stroke;
Sundeck Tec:An ultrasoft panel at the front of the insert that minimizes the footprint and eliminates pressure, enabling a more streamlined fit and increasing airflow.
