Though it hasn’t been around for even a decade, the JOHDAH has become an icon of cycling. Its capabilities and versatility unlock winter layering for all winter conditions, either as a final layer or as a highly breathable mid-layer beneath the RS ALLEYCAT Shell Jacket S11 for winter’s worst. Every textile is oriented for on-bike effectiveness, shielding exposed areas and your body’s leading edge while increasing breathability where protection is less necessary.For the S11 EVO update, we upgraded the forearms and back panel with a more insulating textile, the aptly named OSMOS Heavy. We found that adding warmth at the forearms especially means the JOHDAH can go deeper into winter without an additional layer, preventing the risk of an overheated core due to over-layering. The jacket’s leading edge features DIAMOND Medium softshell, which erases frigid cold, stinging precipitation, and biting wind with an ultra-elastic fit that confirms the RS line’s reputation for second-skin aerodynamics, even in a winter jacket.The built-in intraBooster gilet also returns, courtesy of LITHIUM Medium. This textile is an insulating layer with a grid construction that promotes extreme breathability while trapping necessary warmth but channeling excess heat away from your microclimate. The addition of a double-slide zipper also lets you control temperature in two ways. Unzip from the top, and the LITHIUM gilet lets you release heat without completely exposing your core to the cold. Unzip from the bottom, and you’ll discreetly shed heat while maintaining complete protection across your chest and shoulders against precipitation and windchill.

FEATURED FABRICS
DIAMOND Medium on the front panel, shoulders, and sleeves combines a softshell membrane with ultrasoft thermoregulating backing – a self-contained insulator and stormproof barrier, proprietary to our Textile Laboratory Lugano. An inner layer of LITHIUM Medium protects your core with highly breathable, midweight insulation. The textile’s grid texture actively expels moisture and modulates internal temperature, trapping warmth when needed but releasing excess heat. New panels of OSMOS Heavy wrap the forearms and cover the jacket’s back, increasing warmth compared to the previous JOHDAH. All materials are PFAS free.

Our AEPD 11 racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback to envelope the body in 360-degree compression and stability.
