Behind the product
The EQUIPE R is built with our signature A-Lock Engineering construction that adapts technologies from the WorldTour-proven EQUIPE RS. It maintains racingFit stability with a muscle-wrapping butterfly panel and the new Type.443 textile, which compresses and breathes like the EQUIPE RS, but with a deeper black color. Monofilament elastic in the bib straps reduces weight and dries faster than dual-layer models, and the shorts are equipped with our core racing insert.

FEATURED FABRICS

Type.443 is a compressive, abrasion-resistant warp-knit similar in weight and compressive stability to the Type.441 in our EQUIPE RS line. Ultrabreathable and ultra-supportive with a deeper, richer black color and UPF 50+.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT

Our racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback and proven with WorldTour results. Micro-adjusted shaping wraps the large muscles with compressive support in a standard leg length.

zeroPressure Waist:
Highly elastic waist construction that conforms with a second-skin fit while reducing pressure across the abdomen and sensitive areas.

Ultralight Leg Grippers:
Lighter than anything outside of the Racing Series, with compressive elastic bands and the security of silicone microdot grip.

X-Frame:
A-frame suspension inherited from the EQUIPE RS line. Limits sag on the lower back, stabilizing the insert and main body panel during high-intensity riding.

Shock-Absorb Damping Mono9:
Compressive foam materials in a breathable 9mm racing platform. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation.

3D Waffle:
A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

goldenGate:
The stitching pattern anchors the front and back but lets the insert’s body float, allowing the chamois to move with your body rather than against it.
