What exactly does ASSOS guarantee?
It is our aim to make you a happy cyclist. We therefore guarantee your Total Comfort. We can however, not guarantee that the garment will last forever!
What is a "war•ran•ty"?
1. A guarantee on purchased goods that they are of the quality represented and will be replaced or repaired if found detective.
That is what the dictionary says. At ASSOS we prefer to keep things simple and say: "Any manufacturing defect you note on your garment within the first 300 km / 200 miles on the bike. No questions asked; we simply exchange it."
What is a repair?
Naturally, as any other product, ASSOS apparel does wear out!
Depending on the riding style and on the way one takes care of the garment (see Wear and Store and Wash Instructions), this will occur sooner or later. In the meantime, if a thread breaks, we can repair it and if you crash, we might be able to repair it. But, when, eventually, the material does wear out, we cannot repair it. The majority of the repairs we do, are free of charge, regardless the number of kilometers the garment has.
Important
As ASSOS products are highly technological, specific guidance on their usage is of the essence. ASSOS therefore insists on selling its garments via cycling specialists only. As a result, ASSOS only repairs and/or guarantees products bought from an authorized ASSOS Point of Sale.
For this purpose, we request that all returned garments bear the name and address of the ASSOS dealer and the date of purchase. ASSOS reserves the right to request a proof of purchase (e.g. receipt, invoice, etc.).
What do you have to do?
If, after reading the "potential problems" list you decide to revert to ASSOS, you have two ways for doing so, depending on the country in which you live.
- The fastest, most direct and easiest way is to go to your ASSOS Point of Sale. This means to the bike store where you bought your ASSOS product. In a vast majority of most cases, these professionals will be able to assist efficiently (see procedure 1 outlined hereafter).
- If you live in a country in which there are no ASSOS stores, you might have to submit your problem to the ASSOS Headquarters directly. In this case, we ask you to please follow procedure 2 outlined hereafter.
